Paphos General Hospital operates a ward for suspected Covid19 cases

Paphos General Hospital on Monday will operate a ward for suspected Covid19 cases. It will be on the third floor and all cases will be examined and then sent to Famagusta Reference Hospital.

Iosif Moutiris, Permanent Administrative Head of the Hospital said that the ward will have ten single rooms where the suspected cases will be admitted for further tests.

Doctors will be positioned at the ward following the decree by the Health Ministry for requisition of health workers where needed. He explained that all cases will be thoroughly examined and will be sent to Famagusta Hospital or orders will be given for self isolation.

Moutiris also said that the ICU will re-operate on Monday. Instructions will be given for the vaccination department and the gynecological ward, currently closed.
